Raspberry Alternative

I'm visiting one of my favorite coffee shops in Boulder this morning. In addition to their wonderful coffee, I'm drawn to their muffins. The flavors vary, but the delicious and healthy recipes are consistent. I've had blueberry cornmeal, some sort of bran flavor, some delightful cranberry-something, and several long-forgotten creations. The muffins are kept in a glass case under the counter, all flavors mixed together, with no signs indicating what is what. The line moves quickly, by the time you get to the counter they are already taking the orders of the two people behind you. There is no time to ask what all the flavors are, much less to carefully consider your selection. You gotta just point and go. So this morning I point to the best looking one in the bunch and ask what flavor it is. The answer: "raspberry alternative". Before my mind even has time to consider why a muffin recipe might require 'alternatives', my selection is in the bag and I'm handing over my cash. Yes, this confirms it - I am in Boulder. But the upside of this is that no matter how strange or healthy my food selections are, they are always delicious. I have no idea what was in my muffin this morning other than raspberries, but I don't think there were any eggs, oils, or fat. In fact, I am probably healthier now for having eaten it than I was when I walked in this morning.

This healthy dose of fuel left me with plenty of energy to sit and ponder my life. Everything feels very up in the air right now. Do I stay in Denver or move towards Boulder? Do I stay at my job or look for one with a different population? What is going on in my relationship with Chris? I have no idea...........please help me, Lord.
